Robotics players in the Hanover region

The Hanover economic area – the home of robotics in Lower Saxony: robotics institutes with an international reputation, successful robotics projects for schools, students, and SMEs, and robotics companies with innovative, pioneering products.

A "Robotics City" can only be created with strong partners from business, science, and administration. In addition to robotics institutes with an international reputation, various companies specializing in robotics are based in the Hannover region and have brought groundbreaking products to market in recent years. Some of them were even created as direct spin-offs from the region's universities.

In addition, there are various institutions, non-profit organizations, and initiatives that bundle robotics activities from the Hanover region and throughout Lower Saxony, thus extending their reach beyond state borders. Physical robotics learning centers at the location invite various target groups to experience robot technology live and familiarize themselves with it in workshops and training courses.
